High Commissioner of the Levant
The High Commissioner of the Levant ((アラビア語:المندوب السامي للإنتداب الفرنسي على سورية ولبنان)) was the highest ranking authority representing France in the French-mandated countries of Syria and Lebanon. He was based in Beirut, Lebanon. After 1941 the position was renamed to "General Delegate."
